Supporting Intellectual Disabilities Since 1981

Every Life Deserves the Right to Live

About The Right to Live

The Right to Live Association (RTLA) is a pioneering non-profit organization in Egypt dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.

Founded in 1981 by a group of parents, RTLA was created to provide care, education, and opportunities for children who were often excluded from society.

Today, we continue this mission by empowering individuals to develop their abilities, gain independence, and live with dignity as active members of their communities.

Rehabilitation & Education

Developing daily living, social, and academic skills through personalized programs.

Early Intervention

Supporting children from infancy to age six with specialized developmental programs and family guidance.

Vocational Training & Employment

Preparing individuals for work through hands-on training, workshops, and real employment opportunities.

Residential Care

Providing safe, supportive living environments for adults who require full-time care.

What Families Say

“The Right to Live changed my child’s life. For the first time, I saw him learn, communicate, and feel confident. They gave us hope when we had none.”

Mrs. Hanan Ahmed

“Before RTLA, I didn’t know how to help my daughter. Today, she is more independent, and we feel supported every step of the way.”

Mr. Mahmoud Hassan

“This place is more than a center — it’s a second home. The care, attention, and love they give to our children is truly exceptional.”

Mrs. Dina Khaled
